Statement of Purpose

Chiltern Neuro Physiotherapy CNP provides rehabilitation therapy, hydrotherapy, and dynamic active exercise services for those with neurological conditions within the independent health sector. Our aim is to provide first class, patient centred care within a flexible and professional environment. Our integrated approach allows us to strive to achieve the best possible results for our patients.

Treatment

All assessments and treatments are performed by qualified, registered and insured therapists who work within their defined scope of practice as dictated by their relevant UK governing bodies, the Health and Care Professions Council and The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

Payment

Payment for treatment can be settled at the end of the appointment  otherwise invoices will be sent via email or post mail at the end of a month requesting payment in full for treatment over that period unless we have pre-authorised treatment with an approved third party i.e. private health insurance company.  In this case at initial consultation authorisation numbers need to be given and the private health insurance company will be contacted directly by Chiltern Neuro Physiotherapy. We accept cash, cheques and BACS transfers we do not accept credit and debit cards.

Cancellation Policy

When an appointment is scheduled, this allotted period of time is held exclusively for the patient. We therefore require 24 hours’ notice to re-schedule or cancel appointments to avoid incurring the full cost of the booked treatment.

Please note most insurance companies do not pay cancellation charges and therefore patients will be invoiced for this directly.

Insurance

It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure private medical insurance cover is adequate to pay for treatment. We ask patients to contact their insurance company before commencing treatment to clarify any restrictions on their policy. In all circumstances patients are responsible for the payment of their treatment. Should any claim be declined in whole or in part, the patient is required to pay the outstanding balance in full.

The clinic accepts direct settlement arrangements only from third parties with whom the clinic has a prior arrangement.
