Isobel graduated as a physiotherapist in 2010 with a Bsc (Hons) from Brighton University. She initially worked in paediatric neurology at the PACE centre Aylesbury as part of a highly specialised team providing physiotherapy within the educational setting.
She then moved to adult mental health care within Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire before taking a career break to look after her family. In 2019 Isobel returned to Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS gaining experience across a range of specialities, working within community and hospital setting providing both acute and long term rehabilitation. This means she has an excellent working knowledge of all the services available and the individuals in those teams across Buckinghamshire.
In 2021 Isobel took a role at Central North West London NHS Trust as a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist working with individuals with a wide range of neurological conditions as well as complex disability management. Isobel now combines her skills working both for Chiltern Neuro Physiotherapy and Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust.
Isobel has particular interests in acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis, vestibular rehabilitation and management of long term neurological conditions.
Isobel is a member of the Health and Care Professions Council, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Association of Physiotherapists in Neurology and The International Parkinson and Movement Disorders Societies.
