FUN AND INFORMAL
Helping you to get fit and stay fit
We will help you get fit and stay fit. This can be achieved on a 1:1 basis or within a small group setting.
Chiltern Neuro offers specialist group exercise classes both at the clinic and within the community. Classes are held in a fun and informal fashion.
Keep Moving: For those who have more challenging problems with their balance and mobility due to Parkinson’s. This is a small group held at the clinic specifically for 4-5 participants so exercises can be guided and assisted where necessary. The carers are welcome to stay for coffee and a chat.
Stay active from home: A 60 minute seated zoom exercise session for people living with varied neurological conditions. This is a low intensity class which will build your fitness working through a program of weights stretches light aerobic activity and coordination. The session is designed for people who have moderate to severe symptoms, who can take part in arm and leg movements from a chair, and want to exercise with the support of a highly specialist neurological physiotherapist
Get fit while you sit: This is similar to the stay active sessions but in a large spacious Hall in Hughenden . It offers the opportunity to exercise and interact with others. There is also a nice restaurant to visit for coffee or lunch.

Part of your rehabilitation program will incorporate dynamic exercises empowering you to challenge your physical fitness.
