MindMotion GO is a sophisticated therapy system that uses a variety of game-like activities to train various motor and task functions. The device is able to follow body movement using motion tracking cameras. The system is calibrated to the patient’s range of motion and offers a large variety of therapeutic activities that can be used to train movment helping improve motor function and maximise recovery .
Patients effectively play games which they control with repetitive, motor exercises that closely match real life motor skills. Activities includes “reach” “grasp” “bimanual gestures” “coordination” “balance control” and “gait training”.
The games use captivating effects and a 3D virtual environment to boost patients’ motivation and level of engagement, it is designed specifically to keep patients exercising longer,
The system offers visual feedback in real time to engage patients in their progress. It can also provide data on performance that helps monitor progress and plan future therapy sessions accordingly.
Repetitive performance of the tasks and progression of the difficulty lead to improved ability.
It is especially useful for individuals with sensory impairment muscle weakness or neglect of the hand.
