HOW APPOINTMENTS WORK
Booking an Appointment
We offer clinic-based appointments and home visits. We can also visit clients in nursing homes and residential homes as well as at gyms.
We are available open from 8.30am to 7pm – Monday to Fridays. Saturdays mornings can also be arranged.
Appointments are usually available within five working days. Occasionally, in busy periods, there may be a small waiting time.

Your initial appointment
This is an information gathering process, discussing your current and past medical history, your current ability and needs. The Physiotherapist will look at your movement, your strength, your posture, your sensation and balance. It is sensible for you to come to your assessment in loose fitting comfortable clothing. It will last for approximately 1 hour.
The therapist will discuss their findings with you and recommendations on how to progress forward. This will allow you to discuss and agree a treatment plan with your physio. It is also give the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Referrals
Accepted from any source. Common sources are self-referrals, referrals from family and carers, referrals from medical professionals and referrals from solicitors / case managers.
Cancellation
If you are unable to keep an appointment please contact us via telephone providing us with as much notice as possible. You may incur the full cost of the cancelled appointment if less than 24 hours notice is given.
Payment
We work on a monthly invoice system and accept payment by cash, cheque, or BACS. Our fees may vary depending on the duration of the appointment and how many physiotherapists are required. Please call us to find out more about charges.
Additional Charges
Any additional charges e.g. for the purchase of equipment will only be made upon agreement with the client.
Private Medical Insurance
Our service is registered as a Physiotherapy provider with most major private medical insurers. Please let us know when booking your treatment. We will aim to invoice your insurers directly for payment. Please notify your insurance company prior to your first visit as they may not cover the session post treatment. Some companies may not cover the full cost of the session the payment responsibility is that of the client.
